Young artist working mainly in oil and pencil. More Dalí than Picasso. I like finding the beauty in things that are a little bit weird.

Finding beauty in being weird

I’m a young painter and draughtswoman. Most of my work is oil on canvas or paper, and pencil drawings that start as quiet studies of shells, stones, plants and hands.

I’m drawn more to Dalí than to Picasso: to the moment when something ordinary turns a little strange. A croissant gets the colours of a parrot, a shell unrolls into a rainbow, a wall swallows the sunset. Those are the pictures I want to make.
